The online directory publisher has launched its first iPad app. There’s also a new/improved mobile store locator on its iPhone app. Here’s the iPad app with branded visual icons:
Touch the icon to find the nearest store or outlet. There’s comparable functionality but in a more compact form in the iPhone app. Here’s a video:
Store locators are hugely popular with online consumers (and now mobile users) seeking to find where to buy things. In fact they’re one of the most heavily used areas of multi-channel retailers’ websites. The visual nature of the iPad app is appealing and offers some nice differentiation.
